Houseboat Leisure Home in Dubai marina, Dubai by X-Architects

This innovative houseboat is a result when X-Architects got together with Leen Vandaele, interior decorator architect and design consultant from Squisito. The house successfully combines the nautical lifestyle of relaxation and enjoyment with crisp architectural tectonics.

Two catamaran beams, stainless steel and glass act as the fundamental structure of the floating house. With 20 meters by 6.7 meters in length, the house consists of an upper deck that hosts a concealed kitchen, living room and informal dining area, and the lower deck that hosts bedrooms, bathroom and steering cabin.

The interior is a blend of soft white tones, with contemporary furniture and chic bathroom fittings adding to the modern yet cozy ambiance. The architectural lighting makes this boat house more striking in the evening while it glides smoothly along the lucid waters of Mina Seyahi
