Seoul-based architects Gansam Partners have designed the Jeju Provincial Art Museum located in the Jeju Island in South Korea. Situated within the Halla Mountains, the Museum accentuates the surrounding natural environment through material selection and carefully designed views of the exterior.

Jeju Provincial Art Museum's primary functions include research, conservation, exhibition, and education. Made of local Jeju stone and concrete, the museum blurs the boundary between man-made and natural. A pool at the entrance of the building reflects daylight into the building, while the rear walkway of the museum is inspired by the volcanic Halla mountains. Via
